The project emphasized the value of non-formal education and how it affects young people’s empowerment. This is essential to help young people develop a sense of responsibility, autonomy, and self-determination.

Non-formal learning takes place outside of the conventional classroom and provides a more adaptable and inclusive method of instruction. It includes methods that are frequently done voluntarily and are motivated by the participants’ interests. As a result, young people acquire confidence, learn how to create objectives, and develop the skills necessary to accomplish them through non-formal educational activities. Through empowerment, they are better equipped to deal with the obstacles of life and develop resilience and adaptability.

The project led to different activities generated by the partners from workshops, training sessions including community projects leading to peer learning and mentoring. These activities demonstrate that non-formal learning aims to develop competent, accountable, and empowered people who are equipped to face today’s challenges and succeed in the modern world.
