In November, a delegation from TDM 2000 International, as part of a side activity aimed at promoting participation in the European elections in June 2024, visited the spaces of Europa Experience in the city of Rome. The activity, designed as a local initiative for the involvement of young participants in local working groups, had a highly formative and educational value.
First, because the young participants had the opportunity to understand and learn firsthand what European institutions do and how they function, with reference to the role of policy makers. Second, because they had the opportunity, through role play, to step into the shoes of an MEP and respective political group by discussing, firsthand, the implementation of specific motions. The visit to Experience Europe ended with the screening of videos and informative content, and participation in virtual simulation activities and quizzes on the history of Europe.
