First international activity of the project “Youth Work Seal. Taking the Youth Work to the next level,” hosted in Malta Sept. 18-23. The aim of this preliminary activity is to plan, set up the work and meeting between partners to jointly discuss the management of the project. Malta is a small island in the Mediterranean in which there are many associations rooted in the territory and in which the concept of active participation is strongly felt. This allowed us to get in touch and learn about good practices on the topic, and be inspired to create new content.
At the meeting it was also possible to discuss the strategy to be applied for the implementation of activities and project management. During the meeting, the project partners worked on the creation of the first multimedia content and digital resources to encourage e-participation. There were also opportunities to enhance dialogue with local policy makers and analysis of best practices (e.g. the meeting at the University of Malta).
Next project activities: international seminar in Cagliari to create recommendations that will be presented to policymakers in March at the European Parliament in Brussels.
